EAU THERMALE AVENE COMMITS TO THE CORAL REEF

As part of its environmentally responsible approach begun several years ago, Avène Dermatological Laboratories work hard to develop and design skin care products that are more eco-friendly at every stage of product life cycle. We select specific ingredients to develop special formula that minimize the impact on the marine environment.

This approach, 'Skin protect, Ocean respect', has three aspects : protecting the skin, raising public awareness of the need for a suitable sun protection and respecting the environment.

Today, this approach is extented through our partnership with PUR PROJET and our commitment to replant coral in certain areas of Indonesia.

Protecting the skin is our expertise,

Respecting the ocean is our promise

THE PURE CORAL PROJECT IN INDONESIA

This year, Avène Dermatological Laboratories decided to get involve with PUR PROJET to implement a social and environmental program that helps regeneration of coral to protect the marine ecosystem.

This project in Indonesia establishes nurseries to create and regenerate coral reefs. It uses advanced technologies to stimulate the coral's growth and the development of sustainable coral farming in partnership with local populations.
